Overview of the Leistritz Turning Tools
Turning Tools with Clamps:
- Programme 2112 and 2115 for steel and cast iron
- Programme 2312 and 2318 for NE - metals prefer. aluminum
The system is based on the proven Leistritz compact cutting inserts with two chip guides. It is distinguished by its stable and compact design and its precision in terms of replacement of tools. Similar to the ground chip guides, the standard chip guide grooves (ex-stock delivery) can also be customized.
Due to its special design and the positive edge shape, this tool system is well suited for machining of unstable and thin walled work pieces, hard-to-machine materials, materials which tend towards surface compression, as well as all common lathe processes.
